Midterm Examination Guide

The midterm will be a 50-minute test that will take place on Friday, October 23, 2009.  Even though students will be allowed to start the test early, the clock will not start until 9 A.M.  The test shall have two parts.  The first one will consist of identifications taken from the first five quizzes.  Student will choose four from those items on the test and write their answers on their blue books (20-25 minutes).  The second section will consist of one long, discussion question to be answer in paragraph/essay format.  Students will choose one question and write their long answers in their blue books (20-25 minutes).  For the discussion questions, students are responsible for all material (lectures, textbook, primary source readings) up until the formation of the Greek polis.
